Dick Grayson has worn many iconic mantles and aliases over the years, from Robin and Nightwing to Batman, Officer Grayson, Agent 37, Ric Grayson, Renegade, and Talon. But thanks to the Teen Titans GO! Universe, Dick is now taking on what might be his most outrageous persona yet — one that promises a wild ride of laughs, chaos, and endless shenanigans.
The Teen Titans GO! characters are back with a brand-new comic series, and issue #1 is already out, ready for readers to dive into. Filled with scheming and crossover chaos, this issue stands out among DC’s current titles.
And it looks like this fun and chaotic energy will carry over into issue #3, as DC’s solicitation for the issue reveals that Dick Grayson’s Robin will take on a new alias—TEXAS ROBIN. But it’s not just a name change—Dick’s iconic costume will get a Texan-themed makeover as well.
Meet ‘Texas Robin’: Dick Grayson’s Bizarre New Alias
Main Cover by Erich Owen for TEEN TITANS GO! #2 (2025)
The synopsis for Teen Titans GO! #3 teases that when “Robin gets caught trying to plan a surprise party for Starfire’s birthday, he invents a new alias—Texas Robin, his identical twin cousin—to explain who the party is for.” This little white lie sets off a chain reaction of costume changes and misunderstandings. While fans haven’t yet been introduced to the full persona of Texas Robin, the main cover for the issue by artist Marcelo Di Chiara reveals Dick’s glow-up as Texas Robin. His Robin costume now features a cowboy hat, a poncho-like cape, and his “R” symbol transformed into a sheriff’s badge.

Did Pokémon and Teen Titans Just Team Up? Yeah, They Totally Did
Teen Titans Go! and Pokémon may seem like an unlikely crossover, but it’s one of the most exciting and laugh-out-loud collaborations of the year.
Fans of the Teen Titans GO! show will no doubt be eager for this issue, as it promises the unhinged and fantastically ridiculous version of Robin that the series is known for. While the situation is undeniably humorous—one that the synopsis even admits is inspired by far too many sitcoms—it will also deliver on the Starfire/Robin moments that fans love. After all, this Robin absurdity stems from him trying to do something nice for Starfire due to his crush on her, which was confirmed to be present in the series in issue #1.
Texas Robin Would Make for a Fire Cosplay
Main Cover by Dario Brizuela & Franco Riesco for TEEN TITANS GO! #1 (2025)
While this transformation is confined to the Teen Titans GO! Universe, Texas Robin will still be another alias added to Dick Grayson’s roster. Even better, it could inspire fans looking to switch up their Robin cosplay. With just a sheriff’s badge, a cowboy hat, and a few tweaks to the cape for a poncho-like look, it’s an easy way to refresh an existing Robin costume. This wouldn’t be the first time fans have recreated Teen Titans GO! versions of iconic characters, so it’s likely Texas Robin could soon make his cosplay debut.
TEEN TITANS GO! #3 is available May 7, 2025, from DC Comics!
