Nope, It’s Not Mark Millar On DC/Marvel Or Marvel/DC

Nope, it’s not Mark Millar on DC/Marvel or Marvel/DC. But he will be announcing something on Tuesday.
So, we did indeed fall into his trap. Last week, Mark Millar teased that he was going to be working on a DC/Marvel crossover event. Well, according to someone very close to the crossover project that was announced earlier in the year, this is completely inaccurate. Neither has any plans with him right now. Still, in his latest newsletter, he reiterates the tease, saying;
“I also wanted to give you a heads up about our MASSIVE news coming on Tuesday next week. This isn’t just one, but TWO big news stories, one being a publishing thing where I used that twelve week carve out I’d arranged to do something outside Millarworld. The other piece of news is a movie we’re moving like a rocket on. You can find out more when the trailer launches on Tuesday, but in the meantime I want you to try to figure out what’s in store. Eighteen months ago, after I came up with a Superman story in the Middle-East, DC bosses got in touch and asked if I wanted to write it. A few months back in the pub in London I met my old friend CB Cebulski, current head of Marvel, and talked to him abut doing something too. I’ve got Huck, Nemesis, Vatican City, Magic Order and stuff you haven’t heard of yet coming out from Millarworld this year and next so this is a self-contained, isolated project. WHATEVER COULD IT BE? Find out on Tuesday when the 2 big news stories break! Also, next month, another live-action movie gets announced with the writer and director going public. In July, a THIRD live-action project is unveiled, so an exciting couple of months ahead.”
So I am sure it is something. But it seems that it’s not this. Not yet anyway.
