Superheroes in gaming expectedly don’t cover as much ground as in film and TV adaptations, but DC Comics has potential for more titles thanks to its deep roster. Part of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s plans with the upcoming DCU is to incorporate gaming to some degree, leading to the question of what characters could be candidates. While aggressively tying DC video games to a cinematic universe could stifle some creativity, it may also give exciting opportunities to underrepresented DC Comics heroes. Considering how many of them there are, a Green Lantern could get a DCU game without contradicting movies or shows.
