Batman’s most dangerous creation just single-handedly dismantled one of the most powerful Teen Titans of all time.

While the few remaining Titans are busy regrouping in the pages of Absolute Power: Task Force VII #4, their worst enemies are already knocking down their door. Despite the heroes’ best efforts, the android known as Failsafe is stronger than any of them can handle. This is proven to be painfully true in the case of Miss Martian who, without her powers, is far from a match for the superpowered shadow of the Dark Knight that has come for her.

Green Lantern Turns an Underrated DC Villain into a Huge Threat

M’gann M’orzz, better known as Miss Martian, was introduced in the pages of 2006’s Teen Titans #37 by writer Geoff Johns and artist Tony S. Daniel. Much like her heroic predecessor J’onn J’onzz, aka Martian Manhunter, M’gaan found refuge on Earth and assumed the form of otherwise ordinary teenager Megan Morse. In a decidedly different turn from Martian Manhunter, however, Miss Martian hails from the infamous race of White Martians who were responsible for nearly annihilating their Green Martian counterparts entirely.

Miss Martian is just one of many iconic superheroes to be stripped of her powers throughout DC Comics’ Absolute Power event. With the help of the Failsafe android, Amanda Waller developed six other Amazo androids similarly fashioned after members of the Justice League. Known collectively as Task Force VII, these androids have gone about stealing the powers of the world’s most prominent superheroes, seemingly on a permanent basis. In turn, the majority of the world’s foremost heroes have already been caught in Waller’s clutches, whereas the rest have been driven into the shadows.

One of Batman’s Most Underrated Villains is Back in Action

One of the most violent villains that Batman has ever faced is officially back in action, and he’s well on his way toward winning Amanda Waller’s war.

Despite the overwhelming threat posed by the likes of Task Force VII, they are only a part of Waller’s entire pool of resources. Aside from those particular androids, Waller has also conscripted the impossibly powerful Brainiac Queen, who has had false memories of growing up in a loving home under Waller’s care implanted within her programming. In turn, the Brainiac Queen has given Waller a way to infect other heroes such as the young Superman Jon Kent with her influence, twisting him into yet another of her superpowered agents.
