DC Comics has announced a new comic story tying into the popular video game MultiVersus. In the spirit of the crossover fighting game, the story will see DC’s famous superheroes teaming up with the Looney Tunes’ Bugs Bunny.
Covers for DC’s MultiVersus: Collision Detected were revealed in DC’s Sept. 2024 solicitations, ahead of the story’s release and show DC’s holy trinity paired up with a variety of MultiVersus characters from franchises that include Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Scooby-Doo and more. The story, written by Bryan Q. Miller with art by Jon Sommariva, sees Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman meeting Bugs Bunny as they investigate the many worlds of MultiVersus and look for “the star child” and “the witch”.

The MultiVersus Roster Includes Many DC Heroes and Villains
MultiVersus is a free-to-play fighting game that sees many different franchises from Warner Bros. crossing over in battle. The game was announced in 2021 and was fully released on May 28, 2024, and is playable on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Players can select from a variety of different characters, including Game of Thrones‘ Arya Stark as well as Morty Smith from Rick and Morty.
Deadpool, Spider-Man and More Join Marvel’s Venom War
Marvel’s upcoming Venom War raises the stakes this September, with the Amazing Spider-Man, Deadpool, and other characters joining the battle.
Much of the MultiVersus roster is made up of various legendary DC Universe characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, The Joker and Black Adam. Voice acting is featured heavily in the game, with many famous characters’ voice actors reprising their roles from other media.
MultiVersus: Collision Detected goes on sale Sept. 18 from DC Comics.
