Fan-favorite artist Dan Mora has officially teased that Bugs Bunny is the new Batman in the MultiVersus x DC crossover series with a piece of nostalgically perfect cover art that also features the Robin and Superman mantles taken up by two other classic Warner Bros. characters. The response to this art has been overwhelmingly positive, and fortunately for fans, three other Mora covers have been revealed so far, keeping the fandom well-fed.

Fans have playfully dubbed the Batsuit-wearing Bugs Bunny “Bat Bunny,” a nickname that’s both fitting and humorous.

On October 30, 2024, the much-anticipated Multiversus: Collision Detected #4 by Bryan Q. Miller and Jon Sommariva will be released. This comic is the fourth installment in a crossover series merging the hit video game MultiVersus with the DC Universe, bringing Warner Bros.-owned characters together for a hilarity-filled adventure.

Although all the characters featured in Mora’s beloved art style are appreciated, Bugs, Taz, and Shaggy have stolen the show by donning the mantles of Batman, Robin, and Superman. Bugs, in particular, has delighted fans with the detailed Batsuit, which includes a carrot on his utility belt and the Dark Knight’s cowl adjusted to fit his rabbit ears.

One notable comment added clever humor by combining the iconic catchphrases of Batman and Bugs Bunny, as well as Superman and Shaggy, to reflect their new mashup identities: “EEEhhh, I am vengeance, doc!” and “Zoiks!
