DC Comics has announced that the DC All In Special #1 has completely sold out. The issue will receive a second printing with special collectible cover art.
The DC All In Special follows the events of Absolute Power, when the heroes of the core DC Universe have fought to usher in a new era of unity in the world, launching DC’s new ‘All In’ publishing initiative. In the special, Darkseid returns, and Superman gathers all the heroes on Earth to fight against the Lord of Apokolips in the upcoming war. Joshua Williamson and Scott Synder co-wrote the special, which features art by Daniel Sampere and Wes Craig. For the second printing, DC has announced a special black, white and red version of the main cover by Daniel Sampere and Alejandro Sanchez. A “mostly blank” variant cover will also be available featuring the new DC logo in the background. The second printing of DC All In Special #1 is available for pre-order now and goes on sale on Oct. 30.

DC All In Special #1 went on sale earlier this week on Oct. 2, with its story being told in a unique “flipbook format” that is split into two parts titled “Alpha” and “Omega”. In the one-shot special issue, the Justice League is reunited and goes head-to-head with Darkseid. The new Absolute Universe is born, which will introduce new ‘Absolute’ versions of iconic DC characters, including Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman.
DC’s announcement of the All In Special getting a second printing came shortly after it was announced that Absolute Batman #1, on sale Oct. 9, had already sold out ahead of its release and would be sent back to press with brand-new cover art. The new Batman series by Scott Snyder explores Batman’s life in the “modern age” with no mansion or money as he navigates life in Gotham. The second printing of Absolute Batman #1 will go on sale alongside the All In Special‘s second run on Oct. 30.
The Women of G.I. Joe and Cobra Battle in New First Look
Skybound’s new G.I. Joe comic book series will have a series of special connecting covers showcasing the women of G.I. Joe and Cobra going to battle.
Wonder Woman’s journey in the Absolute Universe will also arrive later this month on Oct. 23 with Absolute Wonder Woman #1. As Diana sets out on a mission of peace, she will no longer have the island paradise of Themyscira or her Amazon sisters to help guide her. Absolute Superman #1 follows on Nov. 6 and puts a spin on Clark Kent’s origins, leaving Superman with no family or Fortress of Solitude to call home.
The second printing of the DC All In Special goes on sale on Oct. 30.
