In one of the most electrifying pop culture crossovers of the decade, JAKKS Pacific has announced its latest toy line inspired by the high-speed world of Sonic the Hedgehog and the legendary heroes of DC’s Justice League. Set to hit shelves and online retailers in Fall 2025, the line will bring together iconic characters from both universes in a bold new way.
Developed in partnership with SEGA of America and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog toys will include crossover-themed versions of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Sonic, Tails, and Shadow. Each figure and playset will showcase unique hybrid designs that fuse the energy of Sonic’s world with the classic heroism of DC’s Super Heroes.

The Story Behind the Crossover
The toy line coincides with the ongoing comic book series DC x Sonic the Hedgehog, which kicked off in March 2025. Written by Ian Flynn (known for his work on the official Sonic the Hedgehog comics) and illustrated by Adam Bryce Thomas, the five-issue series tells the story of Darkseid crossing dimensions to conquer Sonic’s universe.
With Earth’s greatest heroes and Sonic’s team uniting, the crossover delivers high-stakes action, unexpected team-ups, and a fresh take on both universes. The final issue of the comic series is scheduled for release in July 2025, making the fall toy launch a natural extension of the event.
