Since September 2024, The Glitch has been working with Fortnite and instantly recognizable brands to bring an array of partners to Battle Island. This time around, Twitch and Amazon Ads are partnering with DoorDash to present the upcoming “Battle of the Brands” livestream gaming tournament in The Glitch.
Amazon Ad’s Head of Brand Partnership Studio, Andrea Garabedian, says, “Since its launch last year, The Glitch has become a unique space for brands of all kinds to forge meaningful ties to Twitch’s key audience of Gen Zers and Millennials. DoorDash’s in-depth brand experience in The Glitch is bursting with interactions that will get players and viewers truly excited about several beloved products available through DoorDash” regarding the prominence of The Glitch.
For the “Battle of the Brands,” 12 streamers will pair up in a new arena-style multiplayer combat world and go head to head for glory. Players will split into teams of two and spawn at a base representing their brand before entering the combat area. During gameplay, each team will be able to activate a power-up unique to their assigned DoorDash brand and use that ability to gain an edge over their opponents. Matches will follow team deathmatch rules, so more kills and the less deaths is the key to victory.
Fans can watch the mobile gaming extravaganza on the official The Glitch Twitch channel. The Glitch opens its arena on March 14.
